The Virginia, Maryland, Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives is seeking a Mobile Electrical Technician to assist in dielectric and continuity testing of trucks and safety equipment used by power line workers throughout the tri-state area. The position requires the ability to legally operate a Company vehicle and tow a mobile test lab. Frequent overnight travel is required, as well as lifting and long periods outdoors in all types of weather. Preferred candidate will have high school diploma or GED and may be a line-worker student or a recent graduate from an approved line worker school. This is an entry level position which has the opportunity for the right hard-working person, through OJT and classroom training, to grow into a senior level position in the organization.
