This specialized service provides on-site testing and inspection of critical equipment, including protective gear, tools, and devices.

The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives’ Mobile Test Lab service is making an impact, saving member co-ops and others time and money … and lives. The mobile test lab is operated by qualified technicians well-trained in and committed to quality control. VMDAEC appropriately records and maintains data sheets for each item inspected, which are then provided for documentation purposes and review, at the conclusion of testing.

Services

Providing dielectric testing of trucks, line hoses, blankets, hoods, sticks, and continuity tests for grounds and mechanical jumpers, all tests performed by the mobile test lab are per ANSI, ASTM and OSHA standards.

  • Discounted cost of $2000/day* for testing.
     
  • Dielectric testing of trucks and track vehicles (ANSI standards)
     
  • Stick testing (OSHA 1910.269(j) standard)
     
  • Hose and blanket testing (ASTM standards)
     
  • Grounds and jumper testing (ASTM standards)

Associate Membership with the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives provides a savings of $500 per day on Mobile Test Lab services.
