Three system operators celebrated their completion of a three-year journey. The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives’ System Operator Certification Program, commonly referred to as OTAP, includes six 32-hour workshops over the past three years, plus numerous hours of on-the-job training. The group was recognized for their hard work and dedication during a small graduation ceremony at the VMDAEC Training Center in Palmyra, Va. Instructor Curtis Craig led the ceremony attended by family, friends and colleagues.
Congratulations to newly certified Rappahannock Electric Cooperative system operators Grant Garland, Kendall Stanley and Anthony Childress.
