In addition to seeing familiar faces and shaking hands, co-op leaders got down to serious business at the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel. The board of directors selected a new leadership team, while participants heard from a variety of motivational and industry voices on important topics of the day.
To top it off, Greg White, retired president and CEO of Northern Neck Electric Cooperative, received the Electric Cooperative Leadership Award. A similar presentation went a few days before the meeting to Fred Garber, retired director at Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative.
