The 78th annual meeting of the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives had to be considered a home run because it definitely touched all the bases. In addition to a golf tournament and hospitality suites, cooperative leaders got down to serious business July 24-26 at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va. The board of directors selected a new leadership team, while participants heard from a variety of motivational and industry voices on important topics of the day.

Sheila Switzer, who recently retired after 50 years of service at Craig-Botetourt Electric Cooperative, received the Distinguished Service Award, while everyone joined in to raise money for the VMD Education Scholarship Foundation

If you missed the meeting, or just want to relive it, please check out our Annual Meeting page. We have gathered all the stories, pictures and videos of the event in one place. You’ll also be able to review videos from our national association partners and links to our sponsors. It is intended as an ongoing resource page as we await the 2023 annual meeting in Leesburg, Va.
