VMD Association cooperatives were again top performers in the annual Spotlight on Excellence competition for outstanding performance in communications and public relations. Co-ops won 10 awards ranging from social media and video to writing.

The awards were chosen from some 600 entries across 18 categories. The awards are sponsored by the Council of Rural Electric Communicators and NRECA.

“These honors show that our cooperatives are doing an excellent job of reaching out to their members in new and innovative ways, while keeping grounded in traditional publication forms that have been so successful,” said Brian Mosier, president and CEO of the VMD Association.
