The deadline is fast approaching for you to join us at the 78th annual meeting of the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives, to be held July 24-26 at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va. The deadline to register is June 24.
This year’s theme is “The Power of Us.” As always, the meeting represents an opportunity for cooperative managers, directors and key staff members to share best practices, review critical issues and help set a forward-thinking agenda for our industry. A new leadership team for 2022-23 will be elected at the board meeting, as well.
This year’s featured speaker is Merril Hoge, a former running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who continues as a football analyst, author and motivational speaker. He will deliver his remarks on “Powering Past Adversity” at the first general session at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 25.
