At the VMDAEC Vegetation Management group’s quarterly meeting in March, a request was made to see the latest and greatest in equipment and materials used in vegetation management and right-of-way clearing. Representatives from nine VMDAEC associate members and three partner companies spent a beautiful day at the Association Training Center with personnel from 10 member cooperatives and the Association.

Cindy Musick, senior director of vegetation management services for Rappahanock Electric Cooperative, described it as an “excellent morning with fellow regional VM managers and contractor partners at the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives,” she said. “Lively discussion, excellent turnout by our contractor partners, who brought some very cool, new equipment and beautiful weather.”
