Cooperative Living’s new advertising account representative, Sonja Kinney, recently attended the 2022 VA1 Governor’s Tourism Summit in Norfolk, Va.
This year’s summit was themed “Riding New Waves of Tourism.”
“I had an awesome time at the VA1 Governor’s Tourism Summit in Norfolk,” Kinney says.
“What a great way to start my career at Cooperative Living. I had the opportunity to meet current and potential advertisers, as well as hear from people who’d grown up with Cooperative Living magazine and say they look forward to reading all the wonderful articles each month.”
The summit included a special address from Gov. Glenn Youngkin, who discussed the importance of tourism throughout Virginia and emphasized the importance of building tourism relationships.
“I look forward to continuing to build relationships with Virginia tourism representatives and the great people who are a part of the electric cooperatives in Virginia, Maryland and Delaware,” says Kinney.
